Olli Ella folk | Melissa Sonico

Olli Ella folk | Melissa Sonico

Melissa Sonico is a fiction, fashion, lifestyle and adventure writer, mother and jewellery designer based in Southern California. Her relaxed and organic style is constant source of inspiration for us and we are more than a little bit in love with her effortless vintage aesthetic in all things she does. She joined us on our Joshua Tree campaign shoot with her son Harrison.

How do you describe your personal style?
I feel like it evolves little by little but it’s rooted in classic comfort first. I’m taking more chances with silhouettes and colours lately but I like things that aren’t too trendy because I usually regret it in the future!

Where do you live?
Southern California.

If you were a colour, what colour would it be?
Maize, a neutral but still lively yellow.

"The Storie Stool, because Harrison loves it for holding his favourite treasures and it fits so well with the rest of our furniture."

What’s your favourite Olli Ella piece(s) and why?
The Storie Stool, because Harrison loves it for holding his favourite treasures and it fits so well with the rest of our furniture.

What never fails to make you laugh?
Pretty much anything that comes out of Harrison’s mouth lately. He says the weirdest things!
