Make your own homegrown Felt Veggie feast!

Time to veg out! Whether it’s holidays or rainy afternoons, we’ve dreamed up an easy craft session with our Felt Veggie Kit for special moments just like this. A DIY for loved ones to do together  hand-stitch a Carrot, Tomato and Broccoli with our step-by-step guide below!  


Freshly sliced and ready to go!  

You will need:

HOW TO MAKE YOUR CARROT

 

Step 1.
Prepare all the material: Orange carrot piece, 5 dark green leaves, thread and dark brown decorative thread, stuffing 

Step 2.

Sew the two sides of the carrot together like a cone

 

Step 3.
Turn inside out to be finished side facing out
Step 4.
Pack tightly with the stuffing
Step 5.
Sew up the opening leaving a 1cm space
Step 6.
Gather the dark green leaves together and tie the stalks tightly with thread
Step 7.
Put the leaves stalk into the small hole in the top of the carrot. Sew or glue in place
THE CARROT IS DONE!! 

HOW TO MAKE YOUR TOMATO

 

Step 1. 

Prepare all the material: 6 tomato sides, green leaf and stalk pieces, thread & stuffing

Step 2.

There are 6 sides for the tomato, sew them together leaving a 4cm opening on one side

 

Step 3. 

After sewing the 6 sides, there will be a little hole on the top and bottom. Sew up the holes

 

Step 4. 

Turn inside out to be finished side facing out. Then pack tightly with the stuffing

 

Step 5. 

Sew up the opening

 

Step 6. 

Sew decorative thread on the tomato running from the top down to the middle of the segments

 

Step 7. 

Sew or glue the leaf on the top of the tomato

Step 8.

Roll up and sew or glue the stalk on

 

THE TOMATO IS DONE!

 

HOW TO MAKE YOUR BROCCOLI

 

Step 1. 

Prepare all the material: 1 dark green top, 5 stalk sides, one stalk bottom, thread, stuffing

Step 2.

Take the dark green Broccoli top, notice the 5-star shaped points, sew the sides of each point together

 

Step 3.

Turn the Broccoli top inside out to have the finished side facing out

 

Step 4.

Take the 5 sides of the stalk in light green, sew together with the wider edge on one side and the narrower side on the other

 

Step 5.

Turn the stalk inside out to have the finished side facing out

 

Step 6.

Sew the stalk bottom to the smaller opening end of the stalk

 

Step 7.

Pack the stalk and broccoli top with the stuffing

 

Step 8.

Sew the top and the top of the stalk together

THE BROCCOLI IS DONE!
