Nursing Chair FAQ's
Olli Ella Glider Chairs & Ottomans
How do I care for my nursery furniture?
Olli Ella nursing chairs are upholstered in a luxurious microsuede which is is not only comfortable, stylish, and environmentally-friendly, but it is also stain-resistant and water-repellent. If there is a scuff that needs cleaning, spot-clean first with a bit of soap, water and a damp white cloth. Rub the stain gently with circular motions. Once the stain has lifted, clean the area with only water to remove any soap. For tougher stains, please consult a professional upholstery cleaner.
What if I need to fit our new rocking chair in a hard to reach place?
Not a problem! Upon delivery, our drivers will carry your chair into the desired area of your home (UK only). We do ask that before placing your order, you carefully take note of the chair’s measurements as if it does not fit in your home it cannot be returned.
Does your nursery furniture meet all British Furniture and Fire Safety Standards?
Absolutely. All of our nursery furniture meet or exceed all European furniture and fire safety regulations.
Does the foam used in the nursing chair seating contain any PBDE’s?
Absolutely not! Our foam does not contain any dangerous PBDE’s, which can be found in many foams. On that note, we are committed to producing furniture that leaves minimal environmental footprint, and is proven safe for families and little ones.
What about CFC’s and PCPs other harsh chemicals?
Our fabrics are Oeko-Tex Certified and free of all nasty harsh chemicals which are sometimes used in domestic upholstery. You can take a breath of fresh air and put your mind (and feet!) to rest.
Which nursing glider chair would best suit my body type?
When designing these nursing chairs, comfort was of paramount importance. With that, we considered many different body types when designing our gliders and rockers; this is clearly apparent when you sit in one. If you are having difficulty choosing a glider chair – or would like some advice, we would love to hear from you.
What sets Olli Ella nursing chairs apart from other nursing chairs on the market?
Olli Ella nursing chairs are a comfortable, stylish, ergonomic alternative to the gliders and rocking chairs currently on offer in the UK, EU and Australia. Nursing chairs are widely considered to be one of the essentials for new parents. Rather than buying a nursing chair that would most likely be used for the first year of a baby’s life and then discarded or given away, Olli Ella nursing chairs are so stylish that they will readily graduate from the nursery to the living room. All of our glider chairs and ottomans are handmade using traditional British furniture techniques, and are made to last a lifetime.
